Digital Preservation for Libraries and Archives

As more librarians undertake digitization, digital preservation is being integrated with the responsibilities of libraries and other cultural heritage institutions. Panelists will share their visions for what digital preservation is, how it encompasses access, and management, and longevity. There will also be discussion around difficult file formats, handling av files, getting institutional support and promoting a sensible infrastructure for digital preservation activities by creating relevant policies, effectively engaging administrators, and resource sharing.
