Navigating the network of information available to students at the New School University is not an easy thing. Sometimes, the simplest tasks are the least transparent. One of the most frequently asked questions at the reference desk is "How do I find a book?"
So, how do you find a book at the New School Libraries? Download this podcast and take a seat at your computer, and I will take you through the process, step by step. Hopefully by the end, you will feel confident enough to begin searching for books on your own. And if not, you can always ask for help, listen again!
For the sake of this blog, since not everyone has access to MyNewSchool (which is how I begin the process), go to the New School Libraries home page and click on the link to BobCat, the New School Catalog.
